PMM is a never-ending, seriously hard puzzle and I love it.

Always the curious, irreverent strategist, I am the voice in the room that asks when was the last time we double checked our long-held assumptions. And I am the person who then leads a weeks-long campaign to talk to customers, review customer behavior via dashboards, spreadsheets, and data mining, shadow customer support, and visit with sales to understand what our customers, partners, and prospects are saying about our products, our roadmap, our pricing, support, and most recent launch. This work is necessary if we’re going to make good on our 10% ARR revenue lift or strategic push into a new vertical. I love Product Marketing because it is hard work that requires a empathy, tactfulness, and a clear vision on how to support and delight the stakeholders to turn a launch plan from a ppt slide to in-market revenue.

I am very good at bringing clarity and confidence to a project.

The most important part of any launch is the process by which the team members conduct their collaboration. That’s where I come in. I run a tight ship where meetings are organized, where deadlines are meaningful, and where people know exactly what is expected of them - and if they’re every unsure, where the source of truth can be found.

My roles in product marketing in fintech, ERP SaaS, and now in logistics at UPS has shown me that although Product Marketing may mean different things in different companies - or even be called different things in different companies - one thing is always the same - the need to understand (1) who our best customers actually are, (2) how our roadmap, products, or services meet the market need in language that resonates to our base and (3) coordination between internal teams to ensure key stakeholders are comfortable and confident on what’s expected of them before, during and after a launch process to support our revenue goals. Navigating the grey space within and between each of these three points is where I thrive.
